Straight grab bar should be made of steel, 1,5 mm thick and Ø 32 mm (outer diameter), white epoxy-polyester coated after antioxidant treatment. The bending process should guarantee the uniformity of the diameter along the bends. The bar should have two steel mounting flanges, 3 mm thick and Ø 71,5 mm, white epoxy-polyester coated after antioxidant treatment. Each mounting flange should incorporate 3 screws holes of Ø 6 mm for mounting on the wall. The grab bar should be able to support a maximum force of 4.003 N and a weight of 408 Kg. Overall maximum dimensions of the bar shall be 526,5 mm and between flanges’ centres 455 mm.
Straight grab bar shall be model BR0400, white epoxy coated, manufactured by Mediclinics S.A., C/ Industria 54, E-08025 Barcelona, Spain. |
